MOVE THAT BUS! January 8, 2008

One of the members of ACFW and her family will be featured on this Sunday’s, January 13, episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Kim Woodhouse’s daughter, Kayla, has a rare and debilitating neurological disease, which prevents her from feeling pain. Extreme heat and cold could kill her. (Read more about the Woodhouse family).

I don’t remember how Kim’s family got nominated for the show, but I do remember an email on the ACFW loop asking all of the members to contact the show on the Woodhouse’s behalf. Kim informed us in a recent email that her family had more written in nominations than any other family in the history of the show (thousands! not counting the petitions from entire Churches). 

What did Kim have to say about the whole EMHE experience?  “Please be in prayer about this with our family.  We want the Lord to be glorified. We were able to share so openly about our love for the Lord and to share our testimonies, but, we have no idea what they will edit out.”
